Artist Statement
As the sun comes around the world to breathe life into another day, color and life emerge together. I am constantly witness to a beauty of people and place, time and energy, and the wonder of light in our days. Through my lens, I search out the specific vibrant moments that describe passion, space, culture, practice, and a time when we are present. The camera is always specific to the mood and momentary presence that I am in. I chose to go higher, explore deeper, and know more about everything surrounding us, to capture one finite moment in time.
Photography as Communication
I am surrounded both by natural beauty and interesting people. I use my camera to document the world and then print images with a focus on the inspiration I find in daily life. My pictures tell the stories of a lifelong passion for the outdoors.
